HDTV otherwise known as the plasma television has been around for awhile, but only recently have they come into their own. Today they are more popular than ever. One of the main reasons for the increase in popularity is that they’re not as expensive as they used to be, because competition in manufacturing of the product has grown exponentially.
Another reason that HDTV has increased in popularity is because of better technology. When the plasma television first came out its lifespan was only around 30,000 to 40,000 hours — and since then it has dramatically increased as quality of the HDTV delivers on a more consistent basis.
